ITINERARY

3-DAY ADVENTURE PACKAGE: ZIPLINE, RAFTING & HORSEBACK RIDING

Day 1: Zipline Over Piva Lake

Begin your adventure at Guesthouse Eko Piva in Plužine. Meet our instructors between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM. After a short safety briefing and gearing up, take off on the longest zipline in Montenegro – 1400 meters over the breathtaking Piva Lake, reaching speeds up to 65 km/h.

Upon landing on the other side, take a short break before gliding back to your final stop near the Grand Piva Lake Bridge. If you prefer not to walk back to the starting point, our driver can return you by car.

After the zipline, you can take a stroll through Plužine or continue your journey 20 km further to the Waterfall Rafting Center. Check into your riverside cabin and enjoy a hearty dinner at our restaurant between 8:00 PM and 9:30 PM. Spend the evening around the campfire or unwind with games like ping pong, badminton, or darts.

Day 2: Tara River Rafting

Wake up to a delicious buffet breakfast served from 8.30 - 10:30 AM. Enjoy some leisure time by the river before the rafting briefing at 11:00 AM. Our guides will explain safety procedures and provide all necessary gear: wetsuits, boots, life jackets, helmets, and paddles.

From the center, you'll be driven to Brštanovica—the starting point for an 18 km journey on the Tara River. Your guide will ensure a safe and fun experience, with time to enjoy the scenery, waterfalls, swimming spots, and thrilling rapids like Borovi, Varda, and Vjernovića.

After your rafting adventure, return to the Waterfall Restaurant for a well-deserved lunch featuring homemade soup, grilled meats or vegetarian options, fresh salad, and dessert.

Spend your afternoon relaxing by the river or playing social games.

Dinner is served between 8:00 PM and 9:30 PM and includes Montenegrin specialties such as cevapi, pljeskavica, moussaka, fresh cheese, rice, and seasonal vegetables.

Day 3: Horseback Riding in Trsa

After breakfast at 9:00 AM, drive approximately 40 minutes to the village of Trsa (1,450 m altitude), a stunning starting point for your horseback riding adventure. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider, our friendly guide will tailor the ride to your skills.

You’ll enjoy up to 2 hours of riding through one of the most beautiful landscapes in Durmitor, with breathtaking views of the Šušica Canyon.

After your ride, enjoy lunch at the charming Ethno Restaurant in Trsa or return to the Waterfall Rafting Center for lunch. If you’re heading to Žabljak, we can also organize lunch there.

You’ll leave refreshed and full of unforgettable memories with your family and friends, ready to return for another adventure!

Transfer from the Waterfall Rafting Centre to the village Trsa and back. Most of our guests continue their travel towards other regions and don’t require this service. However, we can arrange your transfer upon request.

FAQ for the zipline

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

It takes approximately 25 minutes.

WHAT ARE THE AGE AND BODYWEIGHT RESTRICTIONS?

Minimum age 5 years
Children from 5 - 12 years fly in tandem zipping with our guide
Minimum weight 40 kg to fly alone
Maximum weight 130 kg (including tandem zips with children)
Children and young people can join a zip line adventure on their own from the age of 12 if accompanied by parents or having a parental agreement.

FITNESS / DISABILITIES

You do not need to be an athlete to zip. As long as you are physically and mentally fit you can go zipping. If you can handle a walk and then climb a two-meter ladder, you are fit to zip. If you have some type of disability, please feel free to contact us. We always try to find a solution to enable as many people as possible to join our adventures.

WHAT IF I AM PREGNANT?
We don’t recommend pregnant women go zipping. Please consult a medical expert before you make a reservation for the zip line adventure.

CAN I BRING MY CAMERA AND/OR MOBILE PHONE?
Yes, you can take a camera and/or a mobile with you but you are responsible for it. The company does not pay for loss or damage.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE WEATHER IS BAD?
The saying 'There is no bad weather, only bad clothing' applies to us. To zip in the rain is actually quite fun and could be a highlight if you are dressed correctly. Feeling the rain whipping against your face as you zip along high above the ground is actually very pleasant.

We don't cancel a departure because of ordinary rainy weather. We do cancel adventures in the event of a rainstorm or thunderstorm. In that case, you will get your money back.
