ABOUT US
VEKO PIVA successfully organizes rafting on Tara River, cruising on the Piva Lake, canyoning trough canyons (Nevidio, Skurda, Mrtvica…) mountaineering (Durmitor, Komovi, Maganik…) and visits to the Ethno-villages. For 10 years we strive to present you on the right way to our natural, wild, tame, different, adventurous Montenegro. In accordance with your wishes and requests we have created various packages that include rafting on Tara river, numerous walking and hiking tours in national parks Durmitor and Sutjeska, Piva lake cruises, camping, horseback riding, fishing, canyoning, visits to ethnic villages and others.
We offer packages with accommodation and departures from Scepan Polje, Zabljak or Brezna Village. A detailed review of the program can be seen in part arrangements. If you can not find an appropriate arrangement, please contact us via phone or e-mail and we will do our best to meet your needs and arrange a special program in accordance with your wishes and needs.
OUR TEAM
We are confident that our greatest assets are experienced skippers, guides, and drivers who will give you absolutely unforgettable experience of northern Montenegro. All skippers and guides are specially trained and are licensed. In addition, our team members have grown up next to Tara, or they are long-time fans, and they will tell you interesting stories and legends about people and the canyon which are retold from generation to generation.
Our skilful chefs and waiters are in charge for complete harmony of your experience and they will always with pleasure strive to meet your wishes and tastes. We are proud to serve you traditional Montenegrin cuisine such as veal and lamb made on the coal under iron pot, fresh trout, grilled, fritters with homemade cheese, cream and honey and other delicacies typical for this part of Montenegro.
EQUIPMENT
We are equipped with modern rubber rafts (Gumotex), 10 persons capacity, and professional clothing and footwear for protection from the cold, helmets and vests that will allow guests a completely safe and secure and memorable experience of rafting on the Tara River.
Boats are controlled by the competent inspection and must undergo security checks before each season. The complete equipment is certified.
Transportation during arrangements is with Jeep Land Rover Defender and Volkswagen minibuses. Capacity boat for cruising on the Piva Lake is 15 and 12 seats. A special convenience and safety will provide camping equipment suitable for all weather conditions.
