Tara River is navigable for boats raft for an almost 100 kilometers. Canyon Tare can be divided into two parts: the upper part and the lower part of the canyon. There are two starting points for a raft boats, kayaks, canoes, hidrospeed - and other vessels. In the upper part of the canyon the starting point is Šlivansko (Splaviste), nearby Zabljak town, and from there begin rafting tours during which can runs through the entire canyon Tara.

Tours through the entire canyon last for at least two days and accommodation is in the Motel and Camp Radovan Luka in National Park Durmitor. We organize half day and one day rafting tours in this part of canyon. Rafting fee and insurance is obligatory when rafting trough the National Park Durmitor, to approximately 60 Euros per person. Accommodation in double room with bathroom in the Motel Radovan Luka cost 30 Euros per person, so cost-tour through the entire canyon is more expensive than the tour prices in the lower part of the canyon. In the upper part, the deepest part of the canyon (1,330 m) is near the camp Radovan Luka.
